Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using Naybers services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Naybers LLC.

Description of Service

Naybers is an AI-powered neighborhood assistant that connects members of a community through text messaging. Our service helps you get answers, surface neighbor recommendations, and stay connected with your community.

Account Registration

To use Naybers, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Be a verified member of a participating neighborhood
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

SMS Communications

By providing your phone number and opting in to SMS communications, you agree to receive text messages from Naybers including:

• AI assistant responses to your questions
• Neighborhood notifications and updates
• Account alerts and notifications

Third-Party Service Connections

When Naybers helps connect you with third-party providers (contractors, local services, and similar):

• Service Providers: Services are performed by independent third parties. Naybers facilitates connections but is not the direct service provider and is not a party to any agreement between you and a provider.
• Neighbor Recommendations: Recommendations surfaced through Naybers come from other members of your community. We do not warrant the quality, reliability, or suitability of any recommended provider.
• Your Responsibility: You are responsible for evaluating any provider, negotiating terms, and verifying credentials before engaging their services.

AI Assistant Limitations

Our AI assistant provides information to the best of its ability, but:

• Information may not always be current or complete
• AI responses are not professional advice (legal, financial, medical, etc.)
• Hours, pricing, and other third-party information may change without notice
• Always verify critical information directly with the relevant business or authority

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Submit false or misleading information
• Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others, including other members of your community
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a neighborhood
• Resell or commercialize the service without permission

Intellectual Property

Naybers and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Naybers LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Naybers is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Naybers LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you paid to Naybers in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is less.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Naybers LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alabama.
